Hi! I live in Berkeley, I like bikes, I used to be an experimental physicist, and now I’m trying to steer the future in a better direction. In particular, I’m trying to steer us around that giant flaming pit full of monsters called “technology going badly”.
I made this blog because my friends told me having a blog is cool, and because I do occasionally have things that I want to rant about or share with other people. I called the blog ‘Underconfidence’ because I am generally underconfident in my credence calibration, and because I am incapable of saying things without going to great lengths to make sure everyone knows that I’m not 100% certain it is true.
